- Check if the item is in a good condition and make sure it meets your expectations before you make any payment.
- No payments in advance allowed:- Buyers – should not pay before purchase, discuss delivery cost, but make your payments only AFTER delivery is done or after you have received the item. Sellers – don’t ask for any prepayments before delivery!
- Never share your financial information with anyone. – that Includes bank account details, M-pesa details and any other information that could be misused.
- Always stay alert – check company’s background and their website before going for an interview. You should not be asked for upfront fees for a job application. Do not go to the remote or unfamiliar places for an interview.
